NZ offers short term deposits for large investments
of over $100,000 NZD. Every week, the interest
is accumulated, which can be deposited into your account,
or added to the principle. For overseas investors
not living in New Zealand, there is a very small 2%
tax of the interest. The interest rate may vary,
but is around 6.5% .
Depending on your relationship with EES, we may
charge a flat fee of $250 for setting this up for you,
or may take a fraction of a percentage for handling
your account, if regular maintenance is involved.
These deposits would be held in banks. Elite E Services does not take customer deposits.
- New Zealand has recently received the highest
rating of a banking system by Moody's, only less
to Austria, the highest rated banking system in
the world. This means NZ supercedes the U.S.,
Switzerland, or any other banking system.
- The NZD is backed by the RBNZ, which is monitored
and owned by the Crown.
Because of currency issues, EES offers currency hedging
for all overseas clients investing with funds other
than NZD. Depending on the circumstances of your
investment, we take a percentage of the total invested
funds, and deploy it into a hedging scenario. This
means you are protected from fluctuations in currency
valuations. There is no fee involved with this;
in one example, we take 10% of your invested funds,
and deposit them in a currency trading hedge fund, which
offsets the difference of NZD and your local currency.
This only is included with major world currencies.
Currency hedging services are available for any international
transactions, including those related to import / export
business, or other regular business which would require
currency insurance.

EES does not offer direct hedging products; i.e. we are not in the business of buying and selling futures contracts. Our insight would be how to structure hedging with your needs, through your business or with your personal finances, based on our analysis, information, and the current global financial market at the time.

of the large returns it is considered to be high-risk.

Self-traded clients or those already trading for themselves can receive forex trade signals delivered to their email live, as well as access to our client area.
 New Zealand property investment can not only hedge
the risks of capital markets, but in some cases produce
steady returns. In new developments, developers
may offer ground floor investors locked returns of up
to 10% for the first term, as well as the increase in
property value. Others may offer long-term returns,
holding resources such as forests or minerals. Other
properties, such as city offices, can offer high returns
from pre-arranged leasing agreements, which can be as
high as 25%. Since our establishment in New Zealand we have seen such
high returns on NZ properties, we are exploring new areas of
growth potential in areas of the US and Eastern Europe. Property
investment is also connected to a long term investment in a
currency (where the property is based). Many clients who
bought NZ properties made 2x as much on the NZD than on the
property itself. An international property investment provides not only capital
gain, but also potential income (if the property is commercial
or leasable), a vacation home, and acts as a hedge over other
non-tangible investments (there is only so much land in the
world).

those overseas clients, who are heavy in cash and light
in credit. A capital partner in a New Zealand
business of any kind, can make a good combination for
profit. More and more investors are investing in small businesses
instead of large bluechips such as the DOW because of high yield
profits and low P/E ratios. In fact most share investments
do not return profits (dividends) to investors, they are used
as a tool for capital gain when the share price rises, which
